Jae-Min Ahn

Jae-Min Ahn was born in Seoul (Korea) and completed his vocal studies at Kun-Kuk University in Seoul. Immediately thereafter, he received further diplomas in Italy in the subjects of singing and choral conducting.

During the course of his extensive concert activities, he has performed in various cities in Italy, Germany and Switzerland (e.g. Lausanne, Perugia, Rome, Goslar, Königslutter and Brunswick). He won second prize at the “Riviera della Versilia” singing competition in Camaiore. Italy. On the stage of the Brunswick State Theatre, he has sung the role of Prince Yamadori in “Madame Butterfly” of G. Puccini and the role of Nathanael in “Tales of Hoffmann” of J. Offenbach as well as other repertoire roles. His guest appearances have included performances at the Leipzig Opera Theatre. He has been an ensemble member of the Brunswick State Theatre since 1999 and active as a soloist in operas, oratorios and cantatas.
