Wolfgang Kissling

Wolfgang Kissling studied flute with Prof. Karlheinz Zöller at the Academy of Music and Theatre in Hamburg (at that time called State Academy for Music and the Performing Arts). He won a competition for flute held within the Academy and also won the well-known Masefield Study Award presented annually by the “Alfred Toepfer Foundation F. V. S”.

Wolfgang Kissling began his professional career as solo flutist in the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra. During this period he completed his studies in Hamburg with the diploma examination and subsequently became assistant solo flutist in the Brunswick State Orchestra.
